Festival Season in Full Swing with Abbotts
The 2025 events season is well underway, and what a start it’s been! Bookings are coming in thick and fast, and the South West is alive with energy as festivals, weddings, and community events start to fill the calendar. We’ve already reconnected with many familiar faces and welcomed plenty of new ones, too, and it’s shaping up to be a brilliant year.
We’re thrilled to be partnering with some fantastic organisations this season. From working alongside beautiful venues like Lympstone Manor, to teaming up with Clear Group to offer discounted event insurance to our customers, collaboration is a huge part of what makes this industry so special. Always Striving for First-Class Service
Over the past few months, our team has been out and about visiting customers across the region. Whether it’s helping new clients get started or catching up with long-standing partners, these conversations—often over a cup of coffee and a chat about the challenges and wins we’re all facing- help us keep improving. (Also, shoutout to Keda for introducing us to whipped feta… we’re hooked!)
Behind the scenes, our warehouse team has been busy preparing for the months ahead. We’ve introduced new seasonal stock, including the beautiful Flamenco Crystal Glassware range, and made sure our most in-demand items are fully replenished. With extra vehicles added to our delivery fleet, we’re ready to keep things moving without a hitch.
Planning Ahead: What We’re Seeing
While there’s been plenty of political noise in the background, what we’re seeing on the ground is a real sense of optimism. The events industry across the South West is thriving. We’ve noticed that last-minute bookings are once again on the rise, so if you haven’t yet secured your key dates for 2025, now is the time. And interestingly, 2026 is already filling up fast with plenty of people planning well ahead!
