2023 a year in review: from record breaking numbers of weddings to festival VIP’s
As we come to the end of another eventful year (excuse the pun), we are taking a moment to reflect on some of our best moments and biggest successes of 2023.
This year we broke our own records, took part in the UK’s biggest music festival and worked in amazing locations all over the South West.
Standout Events
Record breaking weekends:
We broke our record for the most weddings supplied in one weekend! It’s always a proud moment to be trusted with making someone’s big day a success. And for our team to be able to deliver our consistently high-quality products and service to a record number of customers in one weekend…what an achievement for 2023!
Glastonbury Festival:
It was a privilege to supply multiple VIP areas at the mighty Glastonbury Festival. Being part of such a mammoth event, the most famous festival in the world, was a challenge for our logistics team, but we overcame all the obstacles and can’t wait to do it again next year.
The South West:
We’ve travelled all across the South West this season, and we can confirm it is the most beautiful part of the UK! Are we biased? Maybe. We’ve visited some amazing wedding and party locations, with breathtaking views, from Weymouth to Minehead, to Salcombe and Rock to Coverack and Porthcurno. We can’t wait to see more of this stunning landscape in 2024.
Hero products of 2023:
Trailer Fridge’s. Great value for money with a large storage capacity, they take the stress away from storage. You can double up for maximum space so there is room for the caterer’s supplies and ample space for the champagne to stay perfectly chilled. We highly recommend reserving for your event in 2024, as we are reaching capacity on popular dates already.
Storm and Raku crockery have been the most popular ranges this year. Add a pop of colour to your table design at minimal cost, the perfect complement to delicious food. We have increased our stocks across the board in these two ranges to meet demand. Watch this space for new pieces being introduced in 2024.
Luxury Toilets have received some amazing feedback this year. The plush design and finish have given the wow factor to clients and their guests, which elevates any event. A necessity product shouldn’t be exempt from the Abbott’s Quality Stamp, so these unsung heroes have just that!
